Silicone Rubber Moulds
Silicone Rubber moulds are ideal for casting beeswax. Unlike other moulds that
require release agents , silicone rubber moulds are durable, versatile and do not
require any release agent. A small smooth pillar candle can be removed from the
mould within 30 minutes of the wax being poured. Tapers can be removed within 15
minutes. Our tealight and votive moulds use a metal pin (included) to make a centered
wick hole. Once cooled just remove candle from mould and insert a pre-made wick
tab assembly into the wick hole. No more pouring into a tealight or votive cup
and worrying about an off centered wick.
The silicone rubber that we use to make our moulds is amazing stuff. It can be
stretched 3 times its original size before it will tear, withstand temperatures of
450 F and will last a lifetime. The silicone rubber comes in various viscosities, which
allows us to use softer rubber for moulds with textured relief, thus eliminating the need
to split the mould down the side and hold it together with elastics when casting beeswax.
Resulting in a smooth casting with no seam lines to trim later.

uses. To remove a light glaze just brush with a bottle brush, or for a heavy wax glaze
run through the dishwasher or boil in a pot of water and then wipe with a soft cloth.

All the candles made with our moulds are designed and intended to be burned in a practical and efficient manner. We do not make figurines or decorations than are not intended to be burned.

All silicone rubber candle moulds are single cavity moulds, which make one candle at a time. This is an efficient use of the rubber and allows the candle to cool quicker.
